"Go ye therefore and teach all nations".
Baptism is a symbol of our union with Christ, the forgiveness of our sins, and our reception of the Holy Spirit.
Mathew 28: 18 “ Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commended you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
United To Christ
By baptism we confess our faith in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and testify of our death to
sin and of our purpose to walk in newness of life. Thus we acknowledge Christ as Lord and Saviour,
become His people, and are received as members by His church. Baptism is by immersion in water and is
contingent on an affirmation of faith in Jesus and evidence of repentance of sin. It follows instruction in
the Holy Scriptures and acceptance of their teachings.
Study The Bible
The Bible is a rich, diverse, complex collection of 66 books written over thousands of years, and by all
sorts of different authors. It’s an important book that has shaped major parts of history—and it can also
help us find meaning, guidance, and insight as we get to know more about God, the Creator of the
Universe, and His plan for each one of us.
