The youth of the Seventh-day Adventist Church are valued not just as its future but as incredibly important current community members. The Youth Department helps develop resources and programming to support and mentor young people. The team collaborates closely with regional youth leaders to find relevant ways to encourage and train youth as they help their communities study the Bible to find freedom, healing, and hope in Jesus.
SYL Curriculum
PREREQUISITES
Be a baptized member in regular standing of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Have a Written/Recorded recommendation from your local Church Board.
Be at least 16 years of age to start the Senior Youth Leader Curriculum
Be an active staff member/supporter of an Ambassador or Young Adults Ministry.
Complete the 10-Hour Senior Youth Seminars and be involved for a minimum of one year.
